I’ve had a love affair with the camera for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved taking photos. Do you remember the disposable cameras that you had to wind up and then go take them to get developed? I always had one of those in my purse with me. I took 2 years of photography in high school where I learned how to use the dark room and how to use my grandpa’s Canon AE-1. I’ve had a love ever since.
In 2004 I had the opportunity to do an online mentorship with one of my favorite photographers Audrey Woulard. That started a long love of learning everything I could about my camera, photoshop and everything that goes along with it. I have spent many hours behind my computer learning, practicing and I have loved every minute of it.
In 2006 I started my photography business and in 2007 I started photographing weddings and families. Since then I have had the extreme pleasure to have been published in photo magazines, been a mentor to many around the world, photographed some amazing clients including some of the San Diego Chargers and other NFL players and their families. It’s been a dream come true for me. In 2014 I quietly took a step back from actively pursuing my photography business due to an unexpected growth with my amazing essential oil team. I still photograph on occasion and love getting behind the camera.
