If your brain didn’t want to finish that title with, “Carmen Sandiego,” you clearly didn’t grow up playing computer games in the early 90’s, but I still love you. But honestly, when was the last time I sat down to tell you where I’ve been as an entrepreneur and where it is I’m going next? It’s been incredibly too long, so grab a cup of coffee and settle in to chat with me for a second.

As many of you may not know, way back when, I owned my own photography business. I loved being able to be my own boss, set my own hours, and use my talents to bring beauty into the lives of others and it was in that business that I grew a passion for being an entrepreneur and helping others do the same.

Then along came Young Living. It was a lot like my photography business but it allowed me to make a much greater impact. It opened new doors to reach even more people. I went from taking pictures and creating art one customer at a time to being a part of changing hundreds of lives through my passion for essential oils.

It was in those early days of my Young Living business that I discovered my heart to push, encourage, support, and be a cheerleader for any and all female entrepreneurs. And so, my MK Brand was born. I have spent tireless years and countless hours learning how to coach and consult with business creatives like yourself in ways that are purposeful, meaningful, and of course, fun. And I have to say, it has been the best work I have ever done!

Every new project, every new strategy session, every new big idea I dream up has the same goal and the same heart behind it. To help women build a business they can be proud of.

So as we kick start another decade, you’re going to be seeing another one of my “big ideas” come to life. An idea to help simplify the way you start a business, sustain a business, and continue to grow a business. Bringing this project to life has been on my heart and in my planner for so many years and I am just so excited to make it available to you so very soon! On top of all of that excitement, I’m still here for business coaching, strategy sessions, and even talk about the Enneagram, so be on the lookout for that content as well. As I continue to follow my passion for helping female business creatives and build my project portfolio, just know that I’m not going anywhere. I’m here for you always. I believe you can both “stay put” and move forward all at the same time and so I pray that 2020 will be the year we move forward together.

I’ve been a lot of places in my professional career and I know that I have only seen the tip of the iceberg of where my heart will lead me in the future, but always know that my dreaming and planning is for you and the growth of the things that set your soul on fire.
