Another really great way to dig into who you are and what you want is through different personality tests. If you spend any amount of time on social media you have probably heard a ton of people talking about their Enneagram number when they talk about themselves. And maybe you’ve never heard the word Enneagram and have no clue what I’m talking about, so let’s back up. 

The Enneagram is a road map for learning who you are in order to help you grow as a person and better connect with the people you interact with.

Once you determine which of the nine types best describes you, you are able to get a closer look at why you think and feel a certain way which gives you a front-row seat to your core fears and desires.

But why is any of this important to know?

Knowing your Enneagram number helps you to determine why you do the things you do. It gives you a closer look at why you hold yourself back in certain areas, or why it’s so hard for you to communicate with that certain someone at work. It allows you to understand your strengths and even areas where you can grow in order to help you know where you should be focusing your time and attention and why things are better left for someone else. 

Knowing yourself fully will give you the confidence to chase after the things you want in life and provide you with the tools to make it happen.
