Yes, sugar season. We are in the season of all things sweet, From Halloween candy to Thanksgiving pie to Christmas cookies. “Welcome to Sugar Season!”On top of the sugar, we are heading into winter. A season when our immune systems are already fighting harder to keep us healthy, and adding in loads of sweets doesn’t help.

I’m no expert and I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I have been making wellness a priority during this season for over a decade now and I think I’ve cracked a few codes on keeping my family healthy!
My best advice for navigating sugar season to keep your children well:
- Rest, rest, and more rest. Get those kids on a sleep routine!
- Drink ALL the water! Serve it with every meal and require them to finish it!
- Daily doses of Vitamin C and D.
- 2 oz. of NingXia Red each day!
- Immupro each night before bed!
- LIMIT PROCESSED SUGARS! Sickness loves to bread on sugar. If it can’t find it in our bodies, it has nowhere to live!
