We get to talk to a lot of entrepreneurs and so many of them say the same thing: “I don’t want to set my goals too high.”

And we have to break it to you. There is no such thing. 

No personal, emotional, spiritual, or even financial goal is too high when it comes to the dreams you create for your business. The sky’s the actual limit.

We talk a lot about goal setting and how to set them here at The Blush Pages but let’s talk for a second about why they can never be too big. 

It’s very common for people to have a scarcity mindset, especially when it comes to finances. This mindset makes you feel as if there will never be enough and always leaves you in fear of what’s to come. Therefore, you limit yourself to believe mediocre is enough and you begin to become complacent, never dreaming of more. 

But we want you to walk in the freedom of an abundance mindset where you understand your worth and value and aren’t afraid to chase after it. 

So how do we make that shift? 

If you feel like you’ve been stuck under the trap of a scarcity mindset for too long, we have a few tips for you to put into practice in order to find yourself living a life of abundance where this is no such thing as limits on what you can achieve. 

1. Be generous. Don’t hold onto the things you don’t need. Whether that is your time or finances, give it freely to the people who need it more. 
2. Practice gratitude. Be grateful for every sale, follower, friend, and even setback that comes your way, and find ways to spread that gratitude on to others.
3. Let go of fear. Stop worrying about the things you can’t control and spend all of your time and energy on the things within your reach. 
4. Set goals and make them grand. Write out a list of the best-case scenario things that can happen in your business and make a plan to achieve them. 
5. Stop comparing. Don’t look at the beginning, middle, or end of anyone else’s business and think yours needs to look like that, too. 
6. Keep learning. Never believe that you know all there is to know about running a business. Immerse yourself in as much education as possible and constantly be changing and growing. We have incredible education available to you over at The Blush Pages.

And remember, there’s no such thing as setting your goals too high. The only mistake you can make is to not set them all!
