If you haven’t been around here for a while, you may not know that one of my very first jobs as an entrepreneur was working as a professional photographer. What started as a love for photos in high school turned into a pretty awesome professional career that helped to jump-start all of the work I’m doing today. In the interview, I share 5 great tips that anyone can follow to take better photos, even from a smartphone! 

1. You don’t need a fancy digital camera to get a good photograph. 
2. Find the best light. 
3. Make sure that your image is in focus. 
4. Make sure your background isn’t distracting to your subject. 
5. Spend time editing your photo.
