If you would have asked me almost 6 years ago now, if I would be a Young Living distributor I would have laughed in your face. When I first heard about Young Living, it was from a friend on her Facebook page. I had seen her post a few times about oils and then finally asked her,

“Do these really work or are you just trying to make money?”

After about an hour long conversation on the phone and 2 months of me doing my own research I bought my Premium Starter Kit. I didn’t have the intention of doing this as a business, as a matter of fact just the opposite. I wanted nothing to do with direct sales. I had done one in the past and had a bad taste in my mouth from it. The stigma of an MLM freaked me out. I wanted nothing to do with it, nothing. Enter the Lemon Droppers. They are exactly what I needed. The exact opposite of typical MLM. Everything they are about is what I connect with. It was perfect and the business model is exactly what I needed. If I was going to be a part of a direct sales company, I wanted to be a Lemon Dropper but I wasn’t going to do the business.

Then, I posted about how I was using them on my fb. I got messages asking me questions and then the business kinda fell in my lap. Once I realized what was happening, I made sure I knew how to run my business the best way I possibly could. At the time I had my photography business that had seen some great success. I know what it takes to run a smart, profitable business so I made sure I had all my ducks in a row when starting my Young Living business. The Lemon Droppers, their model and my enroller/friend made sure I had the tools to be successful. So, I wanted to make sure I utilized it all. I love my job. I get to help people. I get to help people be the best version of themselves and run successful businesses. I love this.

I wanted to give a little overview of my first few months with Young Living. I have included Young Living’s income disclosure statement at the bottom of this blog post.

I’m going to cut it off there but I think you can get the point. Currently I am a Royal Crown Diamond. I achieved this rank the 3rd fastest in the company. There are approx 30 Royal Crown Diamonds in Young Living. I have never slid back in rank and I love being able to help my team be amazing business people. I don’t say this to toot my own horn, because if you know me you know that I hate the spotlight. I say this to show that I love business and I love building leaders.

This business has changed my life and one of my passions is to help others change theirs.
