This is honestly how I got started with the Enneagram. I was feeling stuck in my business and I wanted a way out. But the truth is, I used to be an Enneagram skeptic. 

Eeeek! I know! That sounds strange coming from an Enneagram coach, right? But it’s the truth. I was introduced to the Enneagram a few years ago and it just seemed like yet another personality test. There are so many personal development tools out there and I wondered how in the world this one could be any different than the ones I have spent years researching. I was so skeptical that I almost blew it off. I’m not kidding. This certified Enneagram coach nearly dismissed the entire thing she has helped many people use to build strong businesses. 

I like to say now that I didn’t go looking for the Enneagram, it simply found me. I realize that may sound weird or unconventional but I truly believe that it did. I had no idea how much I needed it, how much my businesses needed it, and how much my relationships with others needed it. Thank goodness I didn’t blow it off when I had the chance. I truly don’t know where I would be today with the things it has taught me.

If you are wanting to know yourself, your colleagues, or even your significant other better, using the Enneagram to learn how you work and communicate with others is such a powerful tool! Knowing your Enneagram number will always give you a competitive edge when connecting with others and building a lucrative brand. When you know who you are and how you act in stress and excitement and every emotion in between, it naturally helps you better manage your reactions and interactions in any given situation. And it, of course, helps you better understand the actions of others which is incredibly crucial in business. 

Using the Enneagram in your professional life will ultimately help you: 

+discover your weaknesses and uncover your strengths

+connect with the right people to help you build your team

+better communicate with your ideal clients

+learn how to better care for the people + employees you interact with 

If you don’t know the dominant numbers for your employees and ideal clients, I highly suggest you spend some time getting to know them better! So I have two challenges for you:

1. Ask everyone on your team to take an Enneagram test and have them share their results with you. Study who they are on the Enneagram and learn a bit about how they communicate. This will speak life to the productivity and harmony within your team! Also use what you learn about them to bless them and show them you care through gifts, compliments, or whatever motivates them to keep up the good work! 
2. Dig deep to uncover the Enneagram number of your ideal client. Get really up close and personal with who they are at their core and how they communicate and then begin to communicate with them in this manner. And then sit back and watch your ideal client naturally gravitate to you and what you have to offer! 

But don’t just stop there! Learn all you can about all 9 Enneagram typings. Knowing more about each Enneagram type will help you better communicate with people in all areas of your life, which is why I highly suggest you don’t just learn about your numbers, but the numbers of your friends, family, and colleagues as well. The more you can relate to people, the better you can understand the how and why behind their words and actions. And this will all trickle down into your business, helping you become more successful in so many different areas.
