Listen to episode 35 HERE!
Today I sat down with Jennifer Dukes Lee, author of “Growing Slow: Lessons on Un-Hurrying Your Heart from an Accidental Farm Girl”. Her story is so beautiful. She shares how she transitioned from a life of bustle and hustle to a life where she can grow slowly at her own pace.
Jennifer Dukes Lee lives on the fifth-generation Lee family farm in Iowa, where she and her husband are raising crops, pigs, and two beautiful humans. She writes books, loves queso, and enjoys singing too loudly to songs with great harmony. In today’s episode, Jennifer gives us the courage to stop chasing the greener grass. Everything does not have to be great all of the time! Change comes, change goes, and life keeps going. I could sit and talk with her for hours. Her words truly are like honey to me.
In this episode you’ll hear all about:
- How to grow slow
- Healing the “hurry sickness”
- Being okay with change
