And listen, I talk to moms in business a lot because I am a mom in business, but so much of what I share is for any entrepreneur in any season. So don’t skip this episode just because you’re not a momptrepreneur. I promise, this is for you too! 

But before we really dive in, I have a little confession to make.

It’s taken me a long time to feel comfortable talking about money. 

For whatever reason, talk of money and finances has always felt so taboo in the business world and I too fell into the trap of keeping quiet. But why? Why are we so afraid to talk about money? Without it you can’t start, build, or even grow a business and I highly doubt any of us ever started by say, “Ah, I don’t care about money, it doesn’t matter if this business makes any.” 

It’s important to talk money in business in order to understand how to make it and how to steward it well.

So I gave up the awkward feelings around money years ago and have freely talked about it ever since. And I want to encourage you to do the same. If talk of money makes you feel uncomfortable, I hope this episode helps you understand the importance of the conversation and helps you to feel more comfortable getting up close and personal with how you spend and make money!
