Hi there! In this episode of ‘Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur,’ I simply want to spend some time encouraging you. In a world where we can watch the lives of other business owners right from our own cell phone, it’s so easy to play the comparison game and believe that they have it easy or that they started out on top while you feel like you can’t get out from the bottom. But I need you to understand something.

That is all a lie.

People like to share their victories with the world, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have times when they aren’t the victor. 

And I’ll confess it. I play the comparison game far too often. Always looking to my left or right, questioning if the work I’m doing is good enough or even relevant for my audience but I have to actively remind myself of this one simple truth:

To stop looking at someone’s middle and comparing it to my beginning.
