But, who am I kidding? You’re probably not sitting around on the internet. You’re out helping a friend or lending a hand to a co-worker because we all know that’s what you do best!

Your perfect day would consist of waking up to a note of praise or a surprise gift from the one you love the most. You’re now feeling so seen and loved, making it easy to grab an adorable mug filled with your favorite cozy drink and jump right into your to-do list, which is probably filled with all the ways you can help others. 

You thrive on being needed, so the more someone needs you, the easier it is for you to love them.

You’re sincere and kind-hearted and all you really need is for someone to treat you exactly how you treat them. “Treat others the way you want to be treated” is literally your life’s mantra and I wouldn’t be surprised if you had it printed in pastels and framed in your workspace. And maybe that’s not the quote you have decorating your office, but you totally have your home filled with quotes that remind you of your value and passion for others. 

People-pleasing is your forte, but sometimes it becomes more about wanting to be needed more than actually wanting to help. You value the opinions of others, but it’s very easy for you to get your feelings hurt. You understand that you’ll never be everyone’s cup of tea, but my gosh, you really try. Being a 9 helps me to relate to you on so many levels here. Keeping the peace and being everyone’s favorite often go hand in hand and trust me, I understand how exhausting this feels. 

You understand the value of constructive criticism, but your sensitivity sometimes makes it hard to hear and you try really hard not to take it personally. You enjoy being handled with “kid gloves”. Not because you’re weak but because your strength comes from how people make you feel. You’re the most thoughtful person and you’re everyone’s favorite friend. But you can’t pick a favorite friend; they’re all your favorite because of your ability to see the beauty in all things. 

You, my friend, are more than just a helper. You’re a waymaker. A community builder. A big feeler. A shining light in everyone’s life.
