Being in the kitchen is not one of my gifts. I love to feed my family but I’ve never really felt gifted there.
But it’s the Fall season and I’ve naturally been drawn to the kitchen to cook and bake. To keep up with our busy routines, I have to plan our meals or we will end up at the drive-thru every night 🤣 Can you relate?! Listen, there is no guilt or shame here because we have all been there!

Want to know my best tip when it comes to feeding your family?
MEAL PLAN FOR THE WEEK.
I get it. Meal planning is a lot of work on the front end. But when your kids start asking you, “What’s for dinner?” on repeat, having a plan and knowing how to answer will save you a ton of stress.
And to ensure your kids are pleased with the menu, let them do the leg work by suggesting the meals themselves. I have three kids plus myself and my husband. Each week, we each pick a meal for the week, giving me 5 options without taking on the burden of doing it on my own. The other 2 days are reserved for leftovers or takeout and everyone is happy. It’s a win-win. I may even get super daring and let my older kiddos start preparing some of the meals themselves.
Be sure to tune into this week’s episode to get an inside look at all the tricks up my sleeve for feeding my family and saving my sanity!
